Private guiding, courses and custom trips can be arranged by email or phone.
Activities in the mountains and backcountry travel, such as skiing and hiking, carry a degree of risk. Each participant must complete a liability waiver. This waiver is emailed to participants upon booking and it must be completed in the presence of your guide before the commencement of the trip.
Fall Line Guides reserves the right to adjust or cancel the itinerary to any trip due to poor conditions, inadequate participant enrollment, loss of guide, or other reasons without penalty to Fall Line Guides. For this reason, we highly recommend appropriate third-party insurance (See Cancellation Policy).
Fall Line Guides does not accept responsibility for costs incurred by persons or entities associated with the change or prolongation of any trips. When a trip is booked, the booking process immediately begins to incur expenses, including deposits for guides, huts, and transportation. Third-party expenses will be subject to their own cancellation policies.
Under extenuating circumstance, if Fall Line Guides are forced to cancel a trip for reasons beyond our control, a credit or refund may be issued – to be determined on a case-by-case basis. In any case, non-refundable expenses on behalf of a client will not be refunded due to cancellation.
All prices listed on our website are in Canadian Dollars and are subject to an additional 5% GST, which will be applied to your booking at checkout. We accept credit card via the Square App with a 3.5% service charge or e-transfer, bank transfer and cash for payment with no service charge.

When a trip or course is booked, the booking process immediately begins to incur expenses, including deposits for guides, huts, transportation and course curriculum.
Weather and conditions are unpredictable year-round and constantly affect the decisions we make in planning and executing each trip. If conditions do not prove adequate to complete a specific objective in your trip plan, Fall Line Guides will have a contingency plan for an alternative objective. If your trip is affected by the weather, you will be contacted as soon as possible. We do our best to provide a positive experience under every circumstance. It is not practical for Fall Line Guides to issue refunds whenever a client is unsatisfied with the weather. If you have a specific objective in mind, you should understand that while we will do everything in our power to make this happen, your safety and coming home to loved ones is our priority.
Upon confirmation and the receipt of payment for your trip and/or course, you enter into a financial obligation and Fall Line Guides cannot refund payment or release you from your contractual obligation except for the condition stated above under “Cancellation Policy.” To avoid unnecessary cancellation penalties, cancellation insurance is strongly recommended in the event you cannot participate or if your trip is interrupted “for any reason.” We recommend TuGo for trip cancellation and medical insurance while travelling within Canada.
All participants in any guided activity will be required to read and agree to the Waiver in the link below.
A hard copy of this waiver will be provided to you at the commencement of the activity, trip, tour or expedition, and
the participant will sign a full colour paper version of the Waiver, which will then be witnessed by your guide.
